Next Catalyst

I guess the next catalyst that we know is coming will be in December about dividends or stock buybacks. Hoping it moves up before then but who knows.

In the Q3 conferenca call Keith Hill stated there was a Board meeting at the beginning of December.  So I am hoping we will get an announcement on shareholders return of capital and maybe even an acquistion of a producing asset Another thing KH mentioned when being asked about share buybacks was "liquidty" concern of some of the larger shareholders.  Trading is pretty thin ...more

Should be a $100 M cheque coming any day. There is poor liquidity because no one wants to sell when oil demand is growing and will grow for next 50 years even while the west turn to bikes and horses and 18th century dream of electric cars this time subsidized by taxpayers just like old Soviet union haha.

Don't forget that Venus will be spuding in December. Impact Oil has a 20% part and Africa Oil owns 20% of Impact. If they really find 4 Bn barrels, AOI will be sitting on addtl. 240 Mio Barrels of oil.

Well, it is not moving up, at least today :) Thinking things are little overblown but who knows...

Seems like a planted story with all the science people saying they have no clue if this latest variant is a danger of and need three weeks to figure it out haha. Yet another scare tactic now they will all be forcing people to get second rate vaccines that clearly don't work aside from boosting immunity for 6 mths haha. I wouldn't be surprised if AOI $3 by Q2

@ Barbie: some people show their bad manners in only one sentence. If you are pointing one finger at others, 3 are pointing back to you. From my side it is a typo. What I remember is that Africa Oil owns around 30% of Impact. I'm too lazy too find out the exact numbers. Do you own DD.  Some people are disgusting but intelligent comments are always welcome. If you find one, write it down ...more
