Hi LG19, I think their valuation model is way out. First of all it is based on just over billion barrels recoverable. The initial estimate for Venus was 1.5bill from 65meters net pay and so far initial result is 84 mtrs some 30% larger. Then we have to take into account the actual size of net pay ie larger the size more probable their mapping is correct on size of prospect field ( 600km sq ...more

Volumetrics is always tricky, I mean we'll have to wait and see the composition of the oil/gas hit, the pressure etc.... it is a monster prospect in terms of sheer size so I guess we will all speculate until the results are known. The fact both Venus and graff had such a quick turn around tells me they want to know ASAP so they loved what they saw

Well here is official report on Venus find from WoodMac ( Wood Mackenzie ) who if you guys don't know are advisors to governments/ oil majors etc, best in the business and certainly not rampers....they state recoverable of 3billion.

Continues.... Well partner Impact Oil & Gas said the results surpassed pre-drill expectations.   A confidential report from Edinburgh-based Wood Mackenzie said the original recoverable resource estimate for the prospect before drilling the probe stood at between 1.5 billion and 2 billion barrels. However, WoodMac’s note for clients said it now “conservatively estimates recoverable ...more

Wonderful! USA imports 13% of its daily oil from Russa they will need that African oil when Russia cuts them off and gas is $6 gal LOL. Europe will need it too when Russia redirects its oil to the other 5.5B people on the earth. So glad I loaded up on this!!
