Investment Advice for the kids

I have been on at my son for ages about investing in AOI and oil stocks in general.  Up until 2 weeks ago, he was more interested in crypto.  But but about 2 week ago he calls up and says that he and his girlfriend are moving from mutuals (yielding about 6%) to self directed,

I got them into AOi and a little AFE as well as Tamarack which is one of my other holdings.  Small stuff, like 5,000 AOI, and other stuff non-oil.  Well they got a bit of a rise even before Venus so they have made a bit of money.

I am telling my son that AOI will be close to $5 by year end and Tamarack about $8.  Am I too optimistic? and I am only basing that on $90 oil .. nothing more.  Monday for AOI and Thursday for TVE will provide more info and I am hoping provide some more momentum.

He also tells me he is on chat with about 15 of his mates and he is telling them about AOI etc.. I think most are investing.  I am pretty confident that they will make a bit of money over the next 2-3 years

Any other  suggestions for the kids from the posters here?  Cardinal was mentioned but I dont know much about that stock although it got a huge pop in last 12 months.  Any suggestions would be appreciated

Get all money out of Canada to first world country like Japan or Germany and buy whatever 2nd world passport can get LOL. Even a 3rd world passport. Try and emmegrate to free country.

are you just interested in tsx / nasdaq / north american stuff ? apart from aoi, who are the jewel of my portfolio, then maybe look twds the PGM mkt, in particular tharisa here in the UK, producing huge profits, very undervalued, constant great expansion projects ets THS is the ticker.

Cheers Tiger and also to PrinceCherwayko I will check out the tips .. not sure THS will be doable as its difficult (expensive) going outside Norht America but I will check it out Monday is the big reveal so I dare say we will all  have something to say about that

SBSW is another PGM play.  Inexpensive, good dividend and can be bought easily in the US. The metals are critical, and with normal markets, expected to increase, especially as the auto industry recovers.  With the situation in the Ukraine prices could be squeezed.

Russia and UA supply much of the raw materials for metals and most of the automotive grade AHSS steel is exported from Germany. As it is Russia can cripple EU simply by turning off gas exports for a week just to give them a taste. The storage tanks are near empty and need to keep some to maintain storage integrity. Now if they turn off the gas for 4 weeks it's the end of Europe industry until

might cost a bit more (i assume you mean to trade) but of their class, they will fire more than the others. sibanye are good but will not rocket like tharisa should, sylvania also popular here in the uk, as are jubilee platinum its take you pick, tharisa dont have huge volume and can be thin but at some point......the value will come out
