2.14 - I am really impressed

Africa Oil was undervalued before the Venus find. I never would have thought that we see prices under 3 Dollar after this huge Venus find. And there will be Venus West. Probably - if they have the same results - in total 7 BN Barrel. This could be well over 400 Mio Barrels for AOI.

@ AOI Keith Hill & the rest of the management
* Pls make your hedging strategy clear to the shareholders. If the hedging really ends in April, the CashFlow should be significantly higher than in your Press Release
* The Divi of 5 Cent is shabby. After hedging is done, the company should have a cash flow of over 1 BN per year with the current oil prices. Giving shareholder back only 25 Mio is nearly nothing. It should be at least 10 Cents
* Why do you want to buy producing assets? Develop South Africa with Africa Oil and Venus with Impact. You could buy from them a bigger share of the project and easily manage all cost with the current cash flow
* Start to act SHAREHOLDER ORIENTED
* @ Keith: you are getting a Mio Salary. Wouldn't it be fair that you care for this high salary about the belongings of Africa Oil and not about several other comanies (you are a director of Africa Energy, Eco, etc.). If you are working only part time for Africa Oil, than pls give your job and your salary to someone who cares 100% about Africa Oil and the shareholders. Thx

Two critical risks with AOI: 1.  Lunden may be a ruthless empire builder with no care about SH - some indications with paltry div that's nearly and insult to those expecting something. 2.  Political Risk  off the charts - there is no better demand killer that a market of 450M people gridnding to a halt because there is no gas for industrial operations or general heating and ...more
