The only news I see is Tullows merger with Capricorn.  Lots of tie is with Tullow but ot sure why it would cause this kid of reaction.  Let's hope it sticks.

Only thing I can see is that the otherwise sleepy M&A market is still going. It could mean more transactions are on the horizon. If nothing else, the merger will help bolster Tullows balance sheet. Their CEO is incredibly conservative with spend so maybe it will help him open the pocketbook or find a I-bank he likes to push through farmouts. Just speculating.
