Africa Oil

Start day of current well offshore Namibida was about 64 days ago. Results are expected any day now. Normally you get some rumours about drilling. There are workers on the ship with phones. So far nothing from the rumour dpt. I hope that the blowout preventores are in place. The odds favor a good result but the stockmarket is getting a bit impatient about the lack of news. Africa Oil as a minor partner does not control the newsflow..Total does. In any case AOI.TO is ceap based on current fundamentals.

They announced a few weeks ago that the exploration well was a success, hitting reservoir, and some distance from the first well, and reaching expectatios.  They did not get involved in any further speculation about reserves etc.  Production development well has been delayed due to rig issues.  https://www.marketscreener.com/quote/stock/TOTALENERGIES-SE-4717/news/AfrOil ...more
