Yes, would be nice to get some news as the price keeps inching lower each day! Have to wait till middle of August for Q2 numbers so any news on Venus would be helpful for the shareprice...

I suggest you search for Deepsea Mira.  It is at the site and is booked for a minimum of 300 days!  I think that is a pretty big clue. Other clues - AOI is not buying back shares.  Maybe not allowed to until official news is reported? Total and AOI both gave back their interests in Kenya (for just a tax write down).  Bigger fish to fry? Peace.

It will be interesting to see how Impact handles the deal. few suitors: ENI, Chinese, BP...... With Total at the healm it's a plus but with time value of money in waters that deep I'd say $1 -1.25 recoverable checks out. Say 6.5 billion barrels x 20% 1.3 billion usd (Il round down to 1.1 Billion given oligopolies don't really compete) $350 Mil to AOI, which honestly I ...more
