Hopefully they can tug a few sleeves and get the Equatorial Guinea done. If I recall they extended the data room to February due to "overwhelming interest" lol. They need to add that to the checklist they love to check off on the ole corporate presentation. They let AE fail which is fine, Total wanted out but their new checklist needs to be updated. The time of changing things has worked out time to see what the no longer new CEO has planned and must be held accountable for.

There was a development in SA...looks like Total "wants" to stay in now. If you want to drill in the SA Orange basin, it's not wise to play hardball with 11B/12B and pee on SAs leg....

Saw somewhere couple days ago TOTAL and another recently applied for drilling permit in orange basin.  There was also a not that it takes a long time to get one.   The govt better get their act together or the so panies will allocate resources to business friendly places. If it's a hassle to get a single drilling permit imagine multiple plus all the other permits for production ...more
