Let's take a look at our new CEO's resume post 6 months:

I bought back a ton of shares, at a terrible ratio to dividends at way higher prices

I managed a merger with bankers who saved the last incompetent fool who's job I took and produced -50% shareholder value

i initiated a purchase of Impacts shares that failed to meet my stated goal of 33% then upped the offer as my SP fell

I initiated a farm down on the Equatorial Guinean assets, told shareholders it would be timely but I mean I'm an idiot and so are you.

I wanted to simplify the structure and did that with throwing away Eog and Afe solved itself to nothing. I raised the interest in Impact, because my friends there need a job until retirement and they would ge running out of cash, before the see some Venus cashflow.
