With a value of 6.73%, AQN has the highest dividend yield in the Utilities - Multiline industry. Only bright spot. Plus the lower share price. Good place to park the money. GLTALongs

payout now way over 100%!  i think high yield not a bright spot at all...divy cut coming?

Hi Perplexed Yup - their payout is well over 100% and the price to book is also (was also) very high at over 39% while most of it's peers are under 18%.  Not sure how they can maintain a dividend that is now at almost 7.3% - really not sustainable but I doubt the CEO cares much - his salary is almost 5 million a year regardless of the share price so I expect to see the dividend cut ...more
