debt

they took on too much debt and now we shareholders are paying for it...don't understand how they expected interest rates to remain so low when the signs of inflation and higher rates were coming ...in short they bit off more than they could chew..the CEO should be out

If the CEO took them in this direction then he really should be out. Unfortunately, so many of these CEO's have golden parachutes so it's heads they win, tails shareholders lose. I'm really wondering where the Board of Directors was on this purchase if it was so bad?

The key to finding out what motivates these clowns is to dig into their compensation packages. If Banskota's variable component was to "grow" the company at any cost without regard for market cap preservation then you will understand why we are suffering now. This has turned into a near-carbon copy of the Cornhill-Harris AltaGas implosion. That stock isn't even close to regaining ...more
