  he put his money where his mouth is to the tune of a motown and change......  like I pointed out last week on Canadian Insider. Not too concerned.  Green politics and decarbonisation aren't  going anywhere.  There are so many options for this company to ride this out.

Yes you're right green politics and decarbonisation aren't  going anywhere....but down! Just look at the performance of just about every EV maker in the world including Tesla and you're right ....they've gone nowhere but down. BIG TIME! AQN=POS

yep.  We are also long SU, CNQ, CVE, BTE, OVV, and MEG.....  Just starting to trim back these positions. we bought them when oil and gas would be "obsolete within a decade", and we could theoretically be paid $10 to take delivery of a barrel of Canadian crude and burn it in our back yard.....  I didn't have the stones to short Tesla though...  Both viewpoints

If you read  AQN  annual  report  you will  find  they  are  SUPER WOKE  ---lots  of talk about diversity , as many  women  as male employees , their  ESG  efforts   ,  green  bonds   ......      One   is left  with  the impression  such  objectives

Me too, I saw lots of talk of wind and solar in presentation, but  NO talk of EBITDA, rate of return on investment, interest coverage etc. So are they saving the planet by going bankrupt?
