As I said, It was short covering nothing more. Right back down to $9.30 today, may see a uptick at the end of the day again because AQN is now a day traders dream NOT an investment. I still have my buy order in the mid $8's

i am hoping only 25% but 50% is still 5 % with a pos appreciation of 20% annually over the next few years i will take it befree in the maritimes

At 1pm there was a guy on Market call BNN. Said the dividend cut wasnt a sure thing. After that share price started to recover. I didnt pay attention to his name, just happened to walk in the room when he was talking about AQN.

I wouldn't be surprised if the share price shot upward on the day AQN announces a sizeable dividend cut (if in fact that is what they end up doing, and I would strongly suggest they do so). Market is expecting a dividend cut. Perhaps because they made a boatload of money and are smart enough not to get too greedy trying to squeeze every last dollar out of their big win. Remember: Bulls make money. Bears make money. Pigs get slaughtered. If I shorted this thing before Nov. 11, I'd cover too, but I don't short - see my alias.
