I HAVE seen this MANY times,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Been in the markets since 1980 and thus have EXPERIENCED quite a number of NOSE DIVES by Large, Basically GOOD, Companies__Whenever Mr Market Has Been SURPRISED/SHOCKED by
a BAD Report by Management.
In ALL CASES the Drop I DID SEE was ALWAYS in the 35 to 40% Range__So as AQN had Plunged from $15__the Current Trading range the past few weeks IS Exactly in THIS RANGE
Also in MOST CASES the Companies I Experienced over the Past 4 Decades INDEED DID RECOVER Nicely.
So AQN right now IS Exactly WHERE it SHOULD BE eh ????

We just need to sit back and hope that the Kentucky Smoke Belch deal is dead. That will at least roast a few shorts.

The smart ones are the insiders at ALA that bought the stock under $10 in 2020 and then rode the share price all the way up to the mid 20s. I notice the insiders at AQN have purchased all around the present price and started buying in the 12s. They will do very well. As will I.

Insiders bought nothing in 3.5 weeks only exercising cashless freebies. They have already done very well even if AQN goes to zero.

Another example of a utility that has still to recover to previous highs is TransAlta (TA) which I now own. It traded at over $30 15 years ago. This one won't see $20 for quite a while. Glad I sold all my shares when they announced the KP acquisition.
