Early Increase In Stock Price Above the $8.70 Low

Tells me the street is betting that the Kentucky Belch deal is NOT going to move ahead and will be cancelled once the deadlines pass. It is the only reasonable hypothesis I can come up with for the stock price moving ack up this soon. If the street is wrong and Kentucky goes ahead, I am betting we see another quick drop in the share price.

Hey Dean I think that is 1 of 2 possibilities. The other is the possibility of a quick asset sale, especially Atlantica. Many investors have a hate-on (me included) for renewables so the sale would look like a positive. Since doing the quick sell of the extra 3205 shares at $9.91 on Jan 11th, my wife & I have re-added 5280 shares at $9.48. I had posted that I would consider converting those ...more

Good point on the ossible Atlantica sale, that is one other facet. There are definitely a lot of balls in the air. However, since I am still completely out, no matter what turns up, if they don't get rid of Banditosa I am not getting back into this stock. I do however, as always, wish all those holding it great success.

I think it's moving up solely for the reason that the market expects inflation and therefore interest rates to ease up in the second part of the year . . . and for a company with debt problems that could be the saving grace.
