Partial list of Banskota transgressions

  • Awarding himself and others cheap options after cratering share price.
  • Massive erosion of shareholder trust in what used to be a decent company.
  • Cutting share price in half.
  • Kentucky Smoke Belch waste of time and $; a deal nobody wanted.
  • Too much debt; a lot of it at variable rates.
I'm sure I'm missing plenty of things; please feel free to add to the list.

Yup, Banskota and the Board have made a huge mess. I still think AQN has some really good assets and will eventually be fine. One thing that has bewildered me is that the share price was $18.61 on Oct 25, 2021 just before they announced the KPC deal. I would have thought that with the KPC deal being scrapped, the $18.61 price would be a little more indicative of the value than an $11.60 price. I ...more

I certainly agree about the quality of some of their assets. The trouble is the company is being run by people who would be challenged running a lemonade stand. You don't oink at the options trough after wrecking your own company and expect pissed-off shareholders not to notice.
