DON'T BUY

Has since sold shares (January 2023). Company in big trouble with floating rate debt. Recent dividend cut very hard on investors. Renewal power business up for sale, but not getting much interest. Would recommend selling and/or not investing. Dividend also not growing.

C Poole is one of the few BNN guests I have any time for. I compeltely agree with her on AQN. Not investable at this stage.

I was surprised when she held on to them for as long as she did. I agree with her assessment. This AQN is not the AQN of 5 or 7 years ago.

Maybe so but it still has a great divy and with the growth in electric vehicle sales (as silly as that whole thing is) power consumption is only going to increase. That alone bodes well for a regulated power company like AQN. Also with the former CEO of Emera in the mix, I can't help but think there are good times ahead.
