Memo from management to employees about cuts?

Can we expect a memo to employees that times are tough and we need to all cut to stay profitable. I gave example of Aecon vehicles. Employees can just take their own. I see so many new trucks. Doubt really need all of those.

we need to be looking for Pennies on the dollar. Management compensation cuts as well. Salary freezes. Do not complete any jobs that don't pay Enough and get clients to pay more before we even start . They can hire someone else if not happy. We aren't responsible for inflation

if I wanted a charity case I would of bought a hockey team...

we need to stop the madness now

If the company can't turn a profit then maybe it should stop bidding on projects.  As each project is done let those employees that worked on it go.  Wind this company down.  The employees can keep the shiny trucks as their severance.

I figure yes.  id ...more

Personally I'm not talking about employees using personal vehicles for construction work but rather using Aecon trucks to get to work from their home on company time and dime.  I don't know what their starting work time is but quite often one of my neighbours that works for Aecon doesn't leave for work until 7 am.  I would have thought that would be the starting time, but I ...more

I happened to have the good fortune of attending a gathering today which included an Aecon worker bee.  He is under the misquided impression that Aecon is raking in the profits.  I pointed out Aecon has lost money the last two quarters.  He didn't believe me.
