September 2024

Under SA Energy, Aecon and Robert E. Somerville are claiming 1.2B in arbitration (hearings this September). against CGL per the MD&A of TC Energy. I have read in detail the claims of another contractor on another adjacent contract and I am 99% confident and assured we will win a substantial amount when compared to our market cap. This will result in an immediate 20%+ rise.

Without any doubt, this potential settlement is Aecons secret weapon towards the 20% upside as a result of mediation.  Gabriel this is huge! Amazing info for all to digest!

Hi Gabriel, Based on your expeirence how long does it typically take for the arbitration project to conclude? I'm assuming it's typically a multi-month process? Does the jurisidction for arbitration have much of an impact or is it pretty standard across Canadian provinces. Also I wanted to say thank you for your excellent analysis on Aecon to date! Thanks, Kupotea

The arbitrator will require a few weeks to render a decision, likely before Christmas in my opinion.   I have an arbitration case (acting as geotechnical expert to the contractor) against the SQI in July. It lasts about a week rarely two weeks.

Gabriel, truly, all our valued shareholders could use a nice Christmas gift! We anticipate this and several other gift announcements by year end 24 .  I am so glad that you feel 99% confident that Aecon will receive a favourable result after September arbitration.
