Hello, I have been investing in Aecon after they built the CN tower and were called in those days ARMBRO ! They were in trouble and collapsed and were trading at 11 cents which I bought a lot of. Soon after that, they reverse  split 10 for 1 and began a new journey at $ 1.10 per share!  Soon after Armbro had a name change to Aecon that stands for Architecture, Engineering, Construction

I suppose I should have know this already: "Soon after Armbro had a name change to Aecon that stands for Architecture, Engineering, Construction!" But, I did not!  Great to know where the name came from! I doubled checked today and noted that I bought my first shares in my TFSA in January 2023 for $10.  I don't have a huge position, but it's been fantastic to watch

Garbriel I thought you mentioned that ATRL was going to have this very strong growth going forward with its "engineering best"  in class for nuclear and other unique specialties they pocess.   Not sure why you would sell your remaining stake there?   Do you see it's sp being limited but you see Aecon as the bigger bargain right now in terms of valuations, backlog

True for ATRL but I have come to the conclusion that this horse has more power to go. Aecon is a bigger bargain as you point out based on the collaborative model substantial game changer which will result in expanding EBITDA construction margins than the presently respectable 9% excluding depleting LSTKs, significantly expanding concessions business (unlike ATRL), no net debt (unlike ATRL), nice

Ron, I have such confidence in the future performance here that I took ALL my profits off the table in order to place the capital gain against the sale (sadly, only a portion) of my disastrous SPB holdings and then put all the cash back into ARE (only 2 cents lower than my sale but that's fine).  I certainly expect $25, probably $30 and more if we are sold - and I don't expect it to
