Gabriel, just recently the utilities division through 25% acquisition by oak tree was pegged at approximately $850 million, what do you assess our nuclear division 100% to be worth if you throw the smr's into the mix ? And anything you can think of. I understand nuclear represents 19% of revenue pie. Perhaps you can project the pie growth over next 3 years.

We can safely assume that the annual revenue of the Nuclear division is about 800m based on the 19% of revenue pie in the last earnings conference slides.  We can also safely assume a growth rate of over 5% for the next 20 years based on the factual, credible and reliable information reported in my previous post. " economy to scale " improved margins all around. Please ...more

Yes this nuclear landscape may in fact be a new wave of global necessity and standards if we are to meet the demands of the world and do it efficiently and with a focus on protecting the environment.   This Nuclear division seems to be close to the current share price if Gabriel's analysis is close enough.  You get the rest of the company for free it seems if this all pans out.   ...more

Bingo !!  This is why we all should continue to pay attention to Aecon 's  Nuclear/ Utilities divisions , the way for the future!  The onset of " Nuclear Renaissance " is clearly on the way! Likewise the GO electrification train project that Aecon is involved is involved in , but not priced , will be the most expensive  infrastructure project in Ontarios history ...more

During You are correct Henry. This conference is huge as you put it for the following reasons: 1. During Climate Week NYC 2024 held September 17-24, a major takeaway was the growing recognition that nuclear energy must play a critical role in achieving global net-zero goals. Industry leaders and policy makers emphasized that decarbonizing power systems solely through renewables may not be ...more
