2022 GUIDANCE "SERIOUSLY" UNDERWHELMING...
something was indeed annoying me with 2022 guidance of 61.9 mill pound Cu in light of 2021 results beat production and cost guidance.Copper production of 63.4 million pounds, 4% over guidance.
Cash cost1 of $1.75/lb, 2% below guidance.
..small drop off in production but with higher Cu pricing and maybe the opportunity to under promise and over deliver..NOW i went back and found this from a sept 2018 NR...see below
"In 2018, Amerigo expects to produce 65 to 70 million pounds of copper at a cash cost of $1.45 to $1.60 per pound. MVC’s Phase Two Expansion will increase MVC’s copper production to 85 to 90 million pounds per year and lower cash cost to $1.45/lb.
simple question: what happened?? phase 2 more/less complete..this is all to do because more fresh tailings?? dwdc

Robert Henderson leaving was one cost of the MVC debacle.

Lucentio: Robert Henderson leaving was one cost of the MVC debacle. Are you sure that shouldn't appear in the 'benefits' column?

Tend to agree with you on that one. Never liked him either but I think he was the sacrificial lamb and was paid pretty well to take responsibility for that failure.
