posted over from the CMMC board-GREAT news story about copper being in a structural deficit, less so with concerns about lack of clarity from the new Chilean Gov't  on mining, taxes causing them to put a significant project IN PARTNERSHIP with CODELCO on temporary hold..see below

Weren't you saying the same thing when we were at $1.30 ish. CMMC will have issues due to rising labour costs which are hitting the North American miners pretty hard and is probably why CMMC and CS are heading south. Glad Freeport is concerned and it will make the government more flexible because they need the investment dollars. For now less investment means supplies will stay constrained ...more
