for people who like to talk gold .    Why is it somebody can always publish bad news about GCM no matter how well they do ?  Gran Colombia labours under Covis . Misses results . is the headline . But apparently no other mining company had a problem . 
  Why is it the the price of gold climbs in Asian trading all night but has a significant drop as soon as New York market open , 9 days out of 10 . 
  Why do pundits on gold who are famous in their world completely change their position on gold in a single day . And claim credit only when they are right ? Who pays these guys and how do I get a job there ?
  How is it the  creator of Bitcoin remains anonymous but people all over the world believe him / her when he / she claims there are only 21 million Bitcoins. ?
  My favourite .  Why are Bitcoins always displayed as a stack of gold coins ?  Why aren`t they displayed as a pile of transistor radios or a pile of old cell phones ? Marketing ?  Many , many people now see gold and Bitcoin as the same thing .
 Just a few thoughts before Xmas .  Feel free to weigh in .

Oh , Also . Isn`t today the day the US government runs out of money and still no Covid relief . You wouldn`t think so looking at the price of gold today .  Looking at Walmart parking lots early this morning everywhere that are packed it appears everybody is doing just fine .

BTC is complex and to understand it takes work.  Most gold investors are unwilling to do this.  That's ok.  But, if you do, you'll see the value (and the risk). I was recommending BTC here around 11/20 when it was $18k+.  Today it is $22.6k.  Another 20% up.  It's like a growth stock, you're playing momentum and demand and everything says this should

I have two Bitcoin doc`s scheduled for tonight but I don`t think I can absorb anymore . As far as I know even recently the Bitcoin inventor has a Japanese name . But everything I`ve read says it is a fictitious name .Satoshi Nakamoto . I`d kill to have a name like that . Anyway I`m still learning .     The US government will shut down at midnight tonight unless an emergency funding bill

Actually buying some BTC would be  a smart treasury move for those companies with excess cash. Not like Microstrategy, which is betting big time, but investing maybe 10% of their cash.   I sold a bit less than 10% of my position yesterday (too bad, as I would have received another $1k/BTC if I'd sold today).  But, by doing so, I took around 25% of my principal off the table

A new strain of Covis that is much more infectious is tearing through England in just a few days  from the time it was first noticed . There are already many cases in the south and a few days later there are 17 cases in Scotland . They have cancelled Xmas in England . I sure hope this isn`t deja vu .
