This seems like an unjustified sell off that has created a buying opportunity ? Am I right here or what's are you thoughts ?

The green light will come when the repurchases will restart . When the buybacks stop , the pos fall. Do not forget despite all the ( good ? )  news coming , the first seller right at the recent top was serafino himself 110 k .. this was not really a buy signal .  While gcm remains particularly undervalued , you have days ahead before  jumping  in . Don't be fooled by the ...more

Come on now . Tell the whole story . He sold to fund the excercise of options . In the end his share holdings actually increased by more than 63K . Even if that wasn`t the case , is this guy never allowed to take any money out ? He owns a pile of shares that he bought on the public market and he was under water for years . I`m surprised he has not sold more . He has still never taken money out ...more

Just for the record: 1.  The gold notes have been tremendously lucrative and as they're redeemed, Serafino is getting cash. 2.  You forgot to mention his $4m payout (I believe) on the change of control payout at Caldas. This company remains undervalued and i still think mgmt could do more to improve the valuation.

>>  i still think mgmt could do more to improve the valuation agreed.  stock buybacks have been relatively weak, and more focus there would go a LONG way towards improving the market's perception and valuation of GCM.

Anybody could have bought gold notes . For a number of years he kept this company afloat with his own money. Do you think he should never get anything ?  Why is it that people on Bay St  who have never been near a mine made and continue to make bundles of money off GCM and nobody has a problem with that. People were actually saying how brilliant Sprott was for stiffing us and sending the ...more

"Why is it that people on Bay St  who have never been near a mine made and continue to make bundles of money off GCM and nobody has a problem with that. People were actually saying how brilliant Sprott was for stiffing us and sending the company for a loop we still haven`t recovered from." Who says no one cares? As to Sprott, that assclown, who said he was brilliant? What he did ...more

Yes Tony , you and I both detest Sprott . I was talking about the rank and file who put those types on a pedestal .  Jim Cramer ring a bell .   I talked to Serafino when that all went down and he was as taken in as anybody .Sprott wanted to mop the floor with shareholders and didn`t get his way so he left . Serafino thought we were finally on are way and I think was a  little ...more

Wrong again of course.... Gold was up 20.00 this am now down and GCM barely in the green at 6.39.... Quite a drop from 8.24 high.. maybe Reddit should target the canadian market with some gold stocks and get these canadian manipulators in the crosshairs.
