2020 numbers look a bit strange because the ARIS transaction and losses on financial instruments and other transaction costs ..but most of them are one-tiome-costs... Q1 2021 -statement will be more of interest with the de-consolidation of Marmato ans a cleaner balance-sheet (without the liabilities of ARIS-Notes at GCM's balance sheet)... ...operational all is OK with total cash-costs at ...more

yes, there is a non-cash liability from the gold notes, warrants, and debenture every q just because the share price went up. in q4 the gcm share price rose a lot from $6.27 to $8.06. that was compounded by the aris subscription receipts and warrants. it is non-cash and does not really matter. for q1 2021 the share price drops a lot from $8.06 to $5.39 so that loss would reverse to a big gain ...more

they produced 57,265 oz but sold only 52,478 oz which does not help the numbers. their aisc is based on oz sold, not produced.
Comment by rotax1 on Apr 01, 2021 8:10am
they did the same in q4 2019 then the q1 2020 gold produced 56247 gold sold 60601 probably we need that strategie to help for a strong q1

all in all solid ... und very undervalued ...   q1 report will show us clearer numbers without all the Marmato-suff in the numbers (AISC at marmato was very high in q4 because they modernize the mine and plant) ... Q1 will show Segovia as stand alone and AISC will comt down to 1100$ per oz sold , interest payments will come down too + the losses on financial instruments will turn into a ...more

cc says without marmato negative fcf, segovia fcf would have been $88 mil for 2020.

I read the report at 1:30 AM so wasn't registering everything clearly, but didn't they make .15 for quarter and $1.28 for year? As I predicted the warrants and extraneous stuff obfuscate the real numbers. Good catch on the AISC being higher because of gold produced but not sold. Bought back a bunch of stock which is great so just keep moving forward.  T

2 months away GCM will report only the Segovia-Numbers and all investments on equity-base ...   i think in may 2021 we will see the first clean numbers since years  ...  this losses on financial instruments are pinting a wrong picture but they are non-cash and will turn into profit over time...   maybe another point confuses some investors.. at the balance sheet ...more

And the debt through gold notes is dropping like a rock now . Not long ago it was huge and people were saying insiders were lining their pockets . obviously that wasn`t true . As well the company  , as promised , keeps giving back to common shareholders through dividend and buy backs . For years it`s been all about no resources . Well that`s not true anymore as the report shows and once again ...more

Wayne, you do not think Chinese will put a GLDX bid?
Comment by Wayned52 on Apr 01, 2021 3:57pm
They very well may put in a bid or as Serafino hinted at we may be looking at a JV or a deal to use their mill .  We have to wait . Not much longer either. But no matter how it plays out it`s a win -win for GCM . People imply we are robbing Peter to pay Paul but you can`t build a major mining company without spending some money . As it turns out our spending could turn out to be pretty cheap ...more

Wayned52 did you pick up also Serafino is just itching to get into Toropuro. Just by his  tone that changed. You can tell he can get it done in his sleep and wants to make  everyones head spin. IKE

Looks like they'll be able to buy back cheaper considering the latest but they certainly seem to have compensated themselves very well.
Comment by kkkrrr on Apr 01, 2021 9:10am
whats your problem with the results? the meet high end of guidiance  and 2021 will be better after the Marmato-spin-off ... Segovia does very well ...
Comment by kkkrrr on Apr 01, 2021 9:13am
you have to consider Segovia is valued with only 100 million$ by market ... and the new PEA sit at appr 200 million USD at POG 1600$
