Tomorrow the new gcm.

No counter offer .

How il senor fino will run this huge deposit ?

Will be able to ovoid more dilution ?

Will be able to act for all shareholders and not for his personnal portfolio ?

Will the ex gldx insiders hold their new shares ?

Undoubtedly a new story for gcm .

The very little good news is gldx should bring 7 mil usd in its bag .

Smart fino,,,did he negotiate a hold period...for those shares with a 40% premium ??   Nothing mentioned in the NR so why wouldn't those shares be dumped at a profit by insiders ??

I have never seen a hold period in a buyout. I'm not sure it would even be legal.

what i expect ...    drilling Segovia -> adding ounces   , cashflow from Segovia 2021+2022 -> adding cash   ---> studies at Toroparu    -> building the road at Toroparu -> construction at Toropru with GCM cash (should be >100 million USD end of 2022) + Wheaton Stream + appr 100 million USD debt  (no dilution)   ... Toroparu 10.5 mil oz of mii + segovia 2.6 mil oz mii = 13.1 mil oz plus 20 segovia veins to explore + Toroparu recently discovered high grade structures and huge 53,283-hectares of mineral leases in guyana to explore. so that means gcm runs out of gold in 3 years as the bashers are claiming? lol

and they still own 100% of Marmato Zone Alta for appr 1.5 million oz of gold ... the area they initillly wanted to mine but it was impossible because the illegal miners there and social unrest...  but this zone was the reason they bought Marmato one decade ago ...   there is a claim against Colombia at a international court for about 600 million USD  compensation... ne clue how ...more

zijin could not make a successful bid because gcm held 20% shares of goldx and goldx management hold a large % of shares. that is already over 25%. there was no way zijin could get 75% vote without management consent. now that the merger is done, what are the chances of making a deal with zijin? from the guy report, https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/guyana-goldfields-inc-announces-updated ...more

In theory, a deal sounds good to do "toll processing" at the Guyana Goldfields plant.  However, can you really trust the Chinese?  I mean, seriously, they still are trying to convince the world that the Wuhan flu (i.e. covid) didn't originate in a lab in China. I wouldn't trust the Chinese as far as I could throw them.  Give them control and oversight of our ...more

You can sample the ore sent at independent lab to establish a grade. There is no need for trust, just a professional business setup.
Comment by Thales42 on May 30, 2021 7:36am
It could be done, but would require monitoring the grade when ore enteres the mill and checking the concentration when dores live the mill.  Keep in mind that test trials could take longer than negotiating the agreement
