Any other value gold stocks?

I think that this stock represents a huge value, and I have been scaling in.  Does anyone have any other value mining stock recommendations?  There are obviously some people on this board who know how to sniff out value.

The question is...is gcm a value play or what they call a value trap. Only time will tell. There is never a sure thing because we retail investors never get all the inside info. Been there lots of times. Media full of praise for a company and a couple of years later its gone

companies that generate a lot of cash, with more assets that its market cap, is growing and doubling production, and hugely profitable at 1800 gold don't just disappear. it is the money losing companies with empty assets that disappear. upcoming catalysts: updated pea to include 4km high grade. hard for it to be bad when 4km high grade is added (they might possibly use a smaller open pit for ...more

Value traps are shrinking companies with declining profits that offer little promise and possibly no future.  Gran Columbia is growing production and profits. However, your point is well taken.  Many mining stocks are value traps.  The mining sector in general is very good at destroying capital.  Just compare a long term chart of GDX to gold.

Try Bitcoin . El Salvador just became the first country to adopt it as their official currency . That`s the vote of confidence I was looking for . It promptly dropped 8% .

Look into LUX, Newlox Gold, new tech for gold production from gold mining tailings... The message board there has several quality reports and we have good discussions there on outlook and things we are watching for. Projections are rather strong but management may be stepping on their own feet at the moment. I got in at an average price of 25.7 cents, there are target calls for $5 within a few ...more

JayBanks, thanks for the recommendation.  As a rule, I stay away from tailings companies because I have seen a lot of them come and go over the years with no success stories.  I would have to wait until they deliver consistent results.  Of course, that could mean a higher stock price. In general, you are right about the large mining companies.  They have kept their costs under ...more

Miners have been so ruthless with their retail shareholders in the past it has been hard to regain their trust. BreX was a disaster for miners that has never healed . Lately mine management have been behaving themselves trying to show investors that they are working for them , but , when the real turn -a -round in gold comes investors who have been around awhile know how quickly they will default ...more
