they are 10 times better investments than silver companies. I do not undertand how these companies trade at far higher multiples than gold companies with unbelievabley bad mines and even worse unfinanced projects.  If you are a fan of silver companies you don't know much about investing.

It is lack of options so small amount of capital looking to get leverage to price of silver has only few miner options. Also when silver goes up it will move far more violently than gold and your earnings also are impacted far more.

Not alone.Warrants,options,mergers,mictro trading,naked short selling,high manager salarys falls not from heaven.The managment of those companys bad behaviour is part of the problem. Or look to this frank guistra.He can take the main part in any mafia movie.

No it's a generell problen.Those stocks create no shareholder value and are driven from speculation. But the manager want this.Otherwise they would buy their own stocks.
