I never bought this co, but was an owner of sandspring....however,here is a co. that is going to produce 800,000 ounces of gold in a few years and is bouncing around a $3.00 per...Just dont get ir...

It's not complicated. First, we are at the beginning of an inflationary cycle that could get worse so operating costs are rising and expected to continue to do so. Second, the price of gold is falling and is expected to continue to do so. Third, gcm doesn't produce 800k. It produces 200k

Well, gold is falling cause the FED is fighting inlfation, so mid term inflation will go down. Once the FED slows down hike raising (since inflation indiacates to go down) gold price will go up again.  And by the way, inflation in Colombia is not that worth in praticular many costs are in COP and not USD. On the other side gold sales are in USD. So COP/USD ratio somehow mitigates inlfation.& ...more

Those are all valid points. I am not an investment adviser I am just stating how I see things. Anyone who acts on the opinions of others has a chance of loosing...even "experts are often way off the mark. The gold mining sector is a roller coaster. In 2016 stocks went parabolic. Investors ever asking the "experts" should I sell. Those who did were lucky. Same thing happened in 2020 ...more

"I am not an investment adviser" "When it will turn again is not predictable. " then why are you posting things like this telling people it is time to get out of miners??? "Time to get out of miners" https://stockhouse.com/companies/bullboard?symbol=t.gcm&postid=34911724 just a few days ago, and posting only negative opinions. that is not just glass half empty ...more

Invest234 you are spot on. Stratochief is a basher and master of double speak. Some do not see him for what he is and only hear the parts of his talk they want to hear......this makes him a shameless basher in sheeps clothing. I am amazed with how others put up with his constant contradictions in speech. IKE

I totally agree with Stratocheif's perspective. He is just talking from his personal experience and risk tolerance. That being said, gold stocks are either super cheap or the price of gold has to tank to catch up. Adjusting for the current price of gold, only a few periods in the last 25 years have gold stocks been this cheap and most were very short lived. Briefly in 2008, mid 2015-early 2016 ...more

"I totally agree with Stratocheif's perspective." then are you taking his advice that it is "Time to get out of miners" now instead of when gold was at $2000? i am just revealing how extremely negative biased their opinions are. i am not stopping them from posting nor is it possible to stop people from posting. just like his comment that gcm only produces 200k is an ...more

The lady doth protest too much. You even make any money investing yet? You are too emotional, I am thinking not. Always good to look at the positives and negatives in any investment decision. Stop bullying people from behind a keyboard.

you assume too much, i am not female, and of course i made money, i already said several times i bought gcm at $1.50 and sold half at just under $6. already said in the past i bought newmarket under $1 while people were crying about the dilution. it went on to be bought out by kirkland lake, made profit on edv with woodyer, bought tgz around 43c when people were crying after heavy rains gave them ...more

by the way, calling somebody an emotional lady and claiming they never make any money investing is a personal attack which is more like bullying, than talking about the negative and positive points of a company.

Guys, relax. I assume everybody here on this board did make lots of money, even many did make millions. And yes, I assume also currently you all at the sideline, same with me. I just think about the perfect time to buy back in. I would like to buy much cheaper, but not sure how low it will go.

first the oil price has dropped from $120 to $90. both marmato and segovia are connected to the country's electric power grid which reduces its energy cost when oil is high, and colomb peso is near record lows which reduces costs like local labor. a lot of the rise in oil is because of russia sanctions. if russia withdraws, russia and iran can quickly flood the world with oil, during a time ...more
