Bullshyt angel , volume is light and computer algos are taking advantage of the situation . There is nothing wrong here other than you can't get any favorable press out of toronto's old boy network

There's been increasing short interest which confuses me given analysts targets, three analysts recent 'top picks' on BNN MarketCall, and that at end of March Eric Nuttall had VII (now ARX) as the funds 4th largest holding. Nevertheless - latest 2 week period (March 24 - April 7) short positions increased by 1,249,555 shares and bringing total short interest to 26,975,640 shares.

I'm completely confused. I can't find anything significantly wrong with ARX to warrant its underperformance. I'm adding under 7.60

I'm with you. Lots of pain felt during a shareholder transition, and with the large number of shares out now it makes it easier for long-term (long) institutions to short that transition.  Buy the dips and look to comparative value, ie. TOURMALINE.  Added another 10,000shares today 7.45 My opinion only. GLTA (longs)

This stock is not broken. The overal market and the prevailing perception of the long-term investability of non-renewable energy plays, at the moment, definitely is. Patience, friends.  Nothing changes here when you're looking at the fundamentals, so this is solid hold that will pay off handsomly in time. Cheers and GLTA.

Hey George I'm not sure I would hang my hat on anything EN states....would be interesting to know who is shorting this...I suspect those that are yelling the  loudest on what a great buy it is may not be as forthright as one might wish. On another note, not too long ago the TSX was at the same level as the DOW, now the Dow is ahead by over 14,000 points - can't imagine why folks ...more

Hey Rusty, no you're right, I don't. But a lot of people follow him and mirror his trades, so his moves hold weight. And I'd have to say he's traded the e&p sector recovery extremely well since April 2020. Shifting from safety names (WCP TOU etc) to higher torque (MEG ERF ATH etc) as wti hit levels north of 50. He's worth listening to. He's done better than Rafi from ...more

Nuttall has down well the last while, long term not so good. A couple of his picks Torc and VII Gen we’re merged with Whitecap and Arc so he also ended up with a small premium too boot. Love him or hate him it’s nice to have him sticking up for the Canadian   Oil and Gas industry. I wonder what has happened to Joseph Schachter, haven’t seen him on Bnn in quite awhile.
Comment by GorgeousGeorge1 on Apr 13, 2021 11:05pm
Tough to be an energy analyst in a cyclical bear market, they deserve a break! Re Schachter - have a read of his twitter account. He's been putting out predictions for wti to collapse 40 - 50% since wti was at ~$45. Poor calls - saying that the world was going to go back into total hard lockdown and gasoline demand would collapse again. He's still saying wti should be sub $50. He gets a ...more

Do the opposite what Schachter says and you will be fine. He has his cult following who must be pretty poor by now. He's just another shill on BNN.
