Pembina Cardium is sold. How much?

Serious analysis only.

10,000 BOE/d, high ARO.  What is this worth per flowing barrel?

Do you have a map, and do you know how much land is associated with the resouce. Is it only the Cardium,  also what kind of facilities would be included in the package. How many identified drilling locations, and the potential of the play area. Thanks IMHO

MH}, where can you read about this? If Arc has sold operations /properties then why is it a secret? This should be a shareholders right to Know Mr Anderson.

Go to slide 21: https://www.arcresources.com/assets/pdf/Q2-2018-Investor-Presentation_September-2018-Handout.pdf Go to the new presentation.. it's gone. It was sold to Ricochet Energy last month.  Everyone who is anyone knows this.. the only ones that don't are either ARC employees or naive investors.. Calculate the value and rest assured, the news will be paired with the ...more

This looks like a great play area, 219 net sections a lot of land, The map does not show anything in terms of facilities, but this is a company making play area. The play is 82 percent liquids, and the Cardium is generally light oil.  Looks like a very valuable asset that could be a company maker.  A lot is depending on the current production. I don't think the valueations i have ...more

Hi TGC It is actually more like 6,500 BOE a day now as ARC drained this asset like CPG did with their Southsask stuff.  Also why ARO is so bad...this was a FCF cow to fund other stuff. So 6500 BOE and I thought 225m in ARO.... So I would day 60-70m if deal signed early and maybe up to 100M if talks happened abit later. It's only a 40M FCF asset...with that ARO not going to get more ...more

Thanks Kavern, good analysis.   I'd tend to agree with the valuation and the lower production volumes.   Hard to tell as there is limited info on that asset unless you dig back and trend it out.

This one is kind of hard to say, what is amazing about this play is the size of the land base and this is really a company maker.  So for a true evaluation you would need to look at the performance of off setting wells and recent land sale data.  That value is in the land base of over 200 net sections in a single play area. IMHO

You nailed the exact problem with this asset...to be only 6500 BOE on a land size that big...with vertical wells drilled so closely together over 30 years...it would be over 1000 wells easily. That would be alot of BS for operators to look after as many stripper wells of a few barrels per day. I am not familar with ARC that much but I used to know 7Gens well and I avoided it...one flaw that I ...more
