Silly season in the U.S. with Biden looking to shore up his approval rating ahead of mid-term elections next year. This is nothing more than window dressing, which I hate (and I work in government relations in the energy industry!). If he really cared about domestic energy security and securing a stable supply, he wouldn't have canceled Keystone on his first day in office. But let's go ahead and beg middle east nations with shaky human rights records instead. You the man, Joe!

Canadian producers with NCIBs should be taking advantage of this nonsense by purchasing as many shares as they can before we exit shoulder season and normal market dynamics drown out this noise.
