Hedging Losses are Real Losses

So if you hedge at 47 dollars and Wti for whatever period is in the period defined in the hedging contract is $87, you pay the bank 40 dollars times the amount hedged. For real, it is cash money. Check it out.

No they aren't. Stick to drilling talk. What does it matter if, as an investor, you think of it as getting $47 bucks a barrel outright instead of getting $87 and giving $40 back?  That's what everybody's arguing about here. The royalty payment on that extra $40 may be relevant though. It makes sense but I'm not sure about it.

Hey Clam. I spent six years in marketing. How bout you. And how many years did you do in the patch BTW sticks and stones. I'm not really a drilling guy. More production, ops, facilities, reservoir, a and d, and evaluations, eight years in shale. I didn't get to be an senior VP in four companies by being stupid. And yes I'll check to see if their hedges are puts/calls. Name calling and ...more

Yes,yes, shale I apologize, but really it wasn't a very ferocious attack now was it, lol. The misinfo on hedging here is getting frustrating. I'm proud of my background too. My job was to tell people like you what to do. Some listened some didn't.

Clam. Good one. It's all. About respect. Obviously you don't get the concept. I can respect you but can I ask you to do the same.

Let's keep it real fella's , wait for the year end numbers and we can take score then . Personally , I don't see how these numbers won't be impressive or historic . Prices are too good and cony is the key , I can;t wait to see how much more FCF Arx generated than Tou .

They WILL be impressive, which makes me question some peoples' motives here. We need to keep it simple because a lot of prospective investors are trying to perform DD on ARX and they're encountering useless noise on here based on unknown petty grievances against management.  So here's all we need to know: Declining debt, decreasing share float and legacy hedges rolling off QoQ ...more

Any intelligent investor doing their own DD won't be swayed by a broken record like HP . If they choose to listen to HP , well a fool and their money will soon part .

Yup. No problem. Already apologized.
