Dividend

I just skimmed through the report and it looked as though there was no addition to the current dividend in this quarter. They talked about dividends from last quarter but I didn't see anything in print for this quarter. I certainly would have expected some kind of a dividend increase. Am I missing something?

They just raised it by 50% at the end of last year and took the opportunity to pay down $140M in debt and purchase a few million additional cheap shares while they could. Rome wasn't built in a day. IMO, look for an increase when they announce Q1 2022 financials in May.

HI Dave, I agree completely but have always been good with their conservative approach to the business. I think we're actually going to see two dividend increases this year. Good thinking Trapped, I hope you're right and there will be dividends and momentum for the stock coming up in the near future. I need the cash lol.

Yes you are missing something.  Management never said a thing about another increase for Q4. Exactly who is "They" in your comment below?  Provide a link if it was management, I would love to see it.

AGREED...as pointed out, the company just raised the dividend and the company will again perhaps on Q1 results , CERTAINLY on Q2 results if commoditee prices let them..in the business - you can introduce a divi, you carry on with a divi, you can even raise the divi BUT YOU MUST NOT CUT THE DIVI without taking a SEVERE BEATING from institutional holders.  IN GENERAL-ARC management has stated ...more

Mgmt said on the cc they view dividend increases as an annual event, and based on sustainable pricing ($55, $2.50 aeco). Nothing to say they can't change this view depending on circumstances.
