Not sure it really matters at this point...last fall would've been the time for thatwhen we had heavy hedges and lower prices...id just let them ride off into the sunset now given the increasing immateriality

I agree there's no point at this stage. The legacy hedges will step down again significantly in just nine months. And ARX has been crushing gas marketing, which should help mitigate any risk-management charges. And let's not forget that they were generating $500+M FCF/Q (net of hedging costs) before the hedging step-down at the start of this year. At the beginning off 2022, my best-case ...more

You're right about CVE, Quint. Outside of my own self-managed account, I have another portolio managed on a discretionary basis by a division of one of the chartered banks. Just yesterday I noticed they bought a boat-load of CVE. It may not have been yesterday's name, but markets are forward-looking and I agree they (like ARX) will be gushing cash moivng forward..

Yes and I think COP has probably finished unloading their 10% of their CVE shares which was holding the share price down. ARX and CVE will be gushing cash just like AN's mom is gushing spooge out of her nostrils. Just about all O&G stocks will and it would be incredibly hard to pick a bad one right now. Anyone talking any O&G stock down right now is just looking foolish. Doing it ...more
