Rig availability

Does anyone here have grreat insight into drill rig availability...all these posts on what we should be doing with FCF..think everyone would agree best investment is to drill right now but is that even an option? Are rigs actually available?  If not, then that narrows down opportunities for FCF.

Not sure why you think everyone agrees we should be drilling. If everyone started drilling as you want, we just head back to where we were two years ago. Even the CEO of the best ng comany in Canada has said he is not interested in increasing production at this point.

i'd take a different view on if we end up where we were before.. Facts are: 1) the industry pretty much took 12-15 months off from drilling and with fast depleting wells will not be jumping back on to the same treadmill track anytime in the near future..just too much lost time and 2) The whole Europe energy security and surge in LNG/increasing exports to Mexico just compounds the problem in ...more

Totally agree with your last sentence.  It will be a measured approach and not a "lets drill at all costs" attitude; which is what some suggest. The future is looking great for ARC and I view them as somewhat behind TOU in regards to debt reduction and hedging losses.  TOU I believe lost ~$400M on hedging but you don't hear the screaming on their BB. It will take 9 - 12 ...more

Wow, you read something into this and frankly i did not see it the same way. In fact ARX is suppose to have 5% growth built into their profile and have seen zero growth. Attachie has been shelfed by Treaty8 SunRise has been shelfed by Treaty8 The only growth is Ante Creek that has not been significant.  So it appears the logical place would be Kakwa with tons of capacity and low ...more

Hi MyHoneyPot ! I wonder if you are a shareholder of ARX and if it's the case, why you still own shares ? Surely some good reasons !? No offense !

My guess? Classic failure who feels he never got his chance. So now he uses hindsight (how convenient) to play fantasy football with someone else's company. Quite possibly the most annoying poster ever.

Yes he is some kind of looser.  :o)
Comment by MyHoneyPot on May 17, 2022 9:18pm
Its very simply, I know the Kakwa play extremely well and these wells are the best in the entire Montney, and often will produce 2000 boe a day, 2 million dollars a day or more in the first 30 days of production. The play is being neglected and management is not working in the best interests of the shareholders.  I am just making management accountable, when TOU says they will increase ...more

Yes Stups, Kakwa is exactly what they are working on.  Try to keep up.  Your about a year behind.
