MHP, I believe you missed this great news on Kakwa wells and production.  ~60% of 2023 capex being spent at Kakwa.  Management has told us that. Also, management is spending $175M in 2023.  You are quoting last years capex I think. Does ARC not have a gas plant at Sunrise that needs ng?  Are you suggesting they mothball it; of course only to complain its mothballed ...more

Sunrise is a postage stamp, play area 35 sections. It is full cycle investment, in dry dry gas. Also it is likely not sanctioned anyway.  I really have a hard time with the spend up there when so much 1/2 cycle opportunity exists at Kakwa, and the netbacks on that production are so low in comparision.  Also the addition capital they want to spend at Kakwa a 130 million is going to ...more

Savings was 50 cents per boe but I thought payback was 2 years.  Regardless, imagine 50 cents for each and every boe from now until it is dry.  How many hundreds of millions is that going to be for us.  Great move ARC. It may look like a waste of money to the uninformed but the IMAGE of NG and OIL is certainly being improved when management has a vision to improve ESG.  I read ...more

Invest 170 million over 2 years, (130 million in year 1), the rest to be invested in year 2 into water infastructure.  That is 3 years down the road before you save a cent.  More wells and more production at Kakwa pays back immediately.  IMHO

Management has to look to the future and not just the quick money maker.  Needing to counter the negative affects of the environmentalists on O&G companies is important.  By doing the right things to improve our environmental image is a huge plus and if it makes us millions three years out, fantastic.  ESG is here to stay and if we can make more money, fantastic. We are in it ...more

Yes but they need to learn to take advantage of Oil when prices are high, and invest in their best play areas for their best returns.  That what they profess to do, but i don't see it.  I expect in Q1 that Kakwa could be 60% of ARX cash flow, and they should put an extra 100 million into drilling and filling those plants running at less than 50%.  Pursuing Full cycle, high ...more

Not really we will see, Kakwa has been capex straved, and like we already discussed has produced at much higher levels. 221800 boe/day for an entire quarter.  Getting Kakwa to 221800 again would have the same benifits of bringing attachie on, without the NE BC Treaty8 issues, or another Full Cycle project with 800 million in capex attached.  IMHO

Serioulsy MHP, you b and moan (hope SH likes this version) about what you want and when someone shows you they have met your expectations you move the goal posts.  221,000 was a one quarter achievement and then VII shut it down for some reason. Over the last few days I have shown you where your information is wrong or not what management had promise in the first place and all you do is come ...more

Gunner, i am here to give your life meaning, i introduce a little reality into your otherwise flawed view of world as it relates to owning ARX resources.  Remember it was MHP that enlightened you regarding ARX production of 221,800 for a quarter and the next Quarter was 215,000 boe/day, in fact i provided you the link to the reports.  Then today, i refreshed you memory on at $170 ...more

Speak for yourself, MHP. I could purchase a home with my current gains and am enjoying a larger dividend thanks to the increase last quarter.    Your problem is you're impatient and have an extremely limited attention span.   You don't know me.
