Attachie

When is Attachie coming online? Q3 coming out in a couple Weeks hopefully we can get a bump in the Divy, I'm good with Buybacks but would like to see some extra cash. Sold all ARX at $25.10 and repurchased 23.74, 23.10 and 22.90, was able to pick up another REIT and add to one, 643 days til partial retirement.

Debt and buybacks first no more divi yet wait until oil is stable if that is possible..oil could be nasty on Monday. Attachie early 2025

Gotta disagree. Dividend increases are an integral part of their shareholder return policy and we've gone all of 2024 without an announcement. I've said this before (and was wrong) but I feel it's time. They can easily afford a modest bump from $0.17 to $0.20 per quarter while maintaining measured buybacks and incremental debt reduction over time. And with Attachie very close to ...more

Going from .17 to .20 is so small it's not worthy of discussion unless you are sitting on a pile of shares from 2020 2021 that u bought dirt cheap the I get it works for that investor. A reduction in the float and financial security should be goal number one in a business that has crazy volatility like o and g.

I am that investor and I feel a modest increase will be a well-received bridge to larger yields once operating conditions allow. The market has been patient but I believe it's time. Just my opinion and I do see and respect your point.

Yeah me too Trapped!  Got a bunch bought a while ago and want a raise. Yearly increases! GLTY and ALL ARX BULLS

I agree Trapped.  Will be very disappointing if no dividend increase is announced.  Well managed companies (like CNQ) find a way to increase the dividend while continuing to manage costs and grow the company.  I doubt it will lead me to sell any but it will be disappointing  nonetheless.

Honestly I'll be dang surprised if it doesn't happen along with Q3 earnings next week. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong - it won't be the first or last time! Feel free to call me a moron if I've lost the plot! Cheers and GLTA ARX Bulls!

Well I'm alone on this one I guess. If it doesnt happen end of Q3 or 4 it allows for something more substantial q1 2025 when they have a clear pic of oil and attachie close to starting. Anyway you win either way if oil and gas are healthy a little lower float and debt is a good thing. My average is now 19 bucks after I replaced my crew with Arx so I'm not in super low like you guys.

Agreed that we will win either way and you might be right about a more substantial share price increase if they buy back more shares, pay down debt and leave the divi flat.  But that could be said constantly for a very long time so how do certain investors get their returns or increased returns?  Answer: They have to sell shares and I'm not sure that helps the stock in the long run ...more
