ASTL shares will be included in the TSX Composite index starting on Sept 19.  Expect big volume starting then as fund managers who track the TSX index will have to buy the shares to match the index.

Sent an email to the TSX a week or so ago questioning why their Algoma Steel page was showing listed shares at 145 million but their Shares (all classes) was at 105 million. I didn't receive a response, but noticed they have now changed both to the 105 million number. Now they just have to adjust the EPS number. I assume that will happen after Algoma reports their current Quarter financials ..
