Copper price

So far, I was aware of estimates from various market participants regarding the future copper price of USD 10,000 per ton in the next 1-2 years and 15 to 20,000 USD per ton in 2025.

Decarbonization, remilitarization, resource nationalism: These are just three reasons that Ivanhoe legend Robert Friedland puts forward for rising copper prices. He attests to “panic” in the USA and Europe and sees the market heading for a “train wreck” that could lead to a tenfold increase in the price of copper.
