What's next?
The timeline provided is very short in the PEA with production start planned in early 2029. This means that we will see a lot of activities over the next months and potentially years. Next critical steps will be the drill permits - anticipated in Q3 or earlier With it the will be another private placement or alternative - it will be interesting to see how this is played out, different options are possible from routine brokered PPs to non-brokered PPs to pre-sale of copper. Interesting will be the role of Fortescue in this - as it is clear I guess to everyone that Fortescue wants Canariaco. The earlier a take over bid is tabled the cheaper. However, what is interesting watching the last months is that the market price is driven by small investors. There is hardly a buy or sale worth more than 20000 stocks. The whole turnover yesterday after the release of the PEA was a little more than 200000 stocks - thats less than I have on my account and I consider myself a little guy. It is clear that all larger shareholders are holding on to every little stock they own. So will I.
So curious about the future - as long as the relationship to the community works and the government support is there things will work and if I remember correctly there are at least 2.3 billion reasons at 4 dollar copper for this and a larger miner with resources and know how on how to do this right this time is part of the cards.
