Special Meeting of Shareholders 

Athabasca held a Special Meeting of Shareholders on January 8, 2020 whereby shareholders voted in favor of the resolution to reduce stated capital (58% shareholder turnout with 99.8% approval).

Does anyone think there should be a connection between the bar for buybacks(sustainable free cash flow) and the awarding of free shares and cash bonuses to management? I do, but I doubt it exists. Matt Taylor, the cfo, doesn't respond to investor inquiries, but does monitor this board. If I was given millions of shares, free, I wouldn't buy any in the market either. But I'm not. So I ...more

As far as we all know, the company has not even proceeded with filing the paperwork with the TSX for an NCIB. Usually, it's common practice that the company will announce that a request for a NCIB has been filed, pending approval of the TSX. and obviously there has never been a news release since the social meeting, stating that an NCIB request has been approved by the TSX, which you see ...more
