Lazy job by management

Could have walked into my credit union and got better terms for them........we waited for that?

Agree. Months and months of negotiations and we get this result? All I can say is disappointed in Management. They must have been held at gunpoint by those Noteholders for this deal to be made.

Management are paid like bankers. Management's motiviation is not to drive value for shareholders, but to keep the party going for as long as possible so they keep getting paid. Shareholder value is the least of their concern which is why they never buy shares on the open market. Refinancing at 9.75% is bad enough, offering a wall of warrants in addition is an insult to all shareholders. I ...more

I think this is a fair criticism.  More than any other O&G company, this management team looks out for themselves at the expense of shareholders.  They don't even try to hide it. It's a problem that will never go away unless the exec team is cleaned out.

Agreed, I have been waiting patiently for years for something good to happen with this Company only to be disappointed by Management and a loss in the value of my shares. At this point, the bottom is in but the upside is no longer visible ( hopefull)  as it was a few hours ago. I will look forward to Managements go forward presentation. Baring anything unexpected I will hold my shares just to ...more

What kind of financing was everyone expecting? I think they could have done better but there is a risk that WCS can go down significantly and that is part of what the banks take into consideration. I doubt that it will, If WCF gets to and stays at or above $75 for a few months then I would expect a SP of $1.50 by spring

This stock has taught me a lesson the hard way about buying and holding oil stocks. Yes, I did pick up  some shares at .11, but by that time, the lesson was learned and I sold out of fear at .18 about the time Nuttall entered the scene. Since then I kept  my core holding which dates back as long  7 years  ago, when I was deceived into thinking that this was going to be the next ...more

It provides insight into what was available to them in the bond market.  If they could have negotiated a better deal they would have.  I suspect NOTHING was available to them at WTI <$70 which is why they sold of eggress to hedge the risk of bankruptcy.   Now we can see why it took so long.  Oil is at all time highs with lots of momentum, and this is the best deal they ...more

Unless the ultimate goal was to supress the share price for 'reasons unknown'. Not much is going to move this sp, short of sustained 80+ oil price. I thought they had more cash than that, they seem to be financing a lot.
