Oil will shortly hit $100 for sure. Nothing can stop it, if you and me need to pump gas to run our car and need to heat our homes in winter, and need to eat. Also, majority of industries run on oil/gas, not even thinkable of batteries. ATH will be getting over $1.60 by end of this week.

A curious question. How many BILLIONS of barrels of oil will be used to create the EV vehicles, motors, infrastructure, batteries, etc etc to get to each 10% displacement of oil consumption? It's an overlooked equation. There is simply not enough spare oil to burn, pun intended, for EV to displace ICE at anything other than a gradual slow rate.

I was just looking at my neighbours moving the snow after Monday's storm. Anyone with an electrical snow blower was just stuck and couldn't move... Only saviour was a gas powered blower!  Oil and gas are not going to go away anytime soon.... My guess is not even in another 50 years!
