Athabasca Tax Pools
"he company has near $3.2 billion in tax pools, including near $2.4 billion of immediately deductible non-capital loses and exploration pools. "
From the presentation , 3.2billion in tax pools including 2.4billion of immediately deductible .
They have a 500million float approx , so guess the tax pool is itself worth more than price of the company ( almost 4$ in tax pools itself) .
Instant Nirvana , for a big player to buy them with tax dollars .
Instead of paying 2billion in taxes to Feds , y not buy Athabasca ,use the tax pools and put some money to raise production/optimize SOR .

The tax pool is worth the dollar value times the corporate tax rate. The non-immediate are worth a bit less, as they can only be used over a number of years so would have a bit of a discount. Anyway, you get about $700 million doing that calculation, which is still more than the market cap.

B-I-N-G-O! Correct. I added last week and will add this week. I had expected a big API BUILD so hesitated to buy anything the last 2 days. Tomorrow it is then :)
