Oils trade about  3 to 5 times earnings, at low end its 4.50. LOAD UP THE TRUCK

Is Eric back for the double???? His war chest has been growing over the last year, thats not a significant buy like it was a year or two ago....interesting

If it was a single trade for 27M shares, the only fund or institution with that many shares is Ninepoint. The next closest to Ninepoint is Dimensional Funds Advisors LP with 9.4M shares.  Did Nuttall lower his poition from 50M? https://www.morningstar.com/stocks/xtse/ath/ownership

SO, i am assuming that eric bought an additional 27 million based on his comment a while ago that he sold out to early and that this is highly leveragd to oil, even though its dropped a bit, the price going forward is still high for oil price. I think it is a takeover target , with its LAND HLDINGS, TAX CREDITS ETC. ALSO, WITH ITS EARNINGS coming up , which might be in the 1.38 range, AND ITS

i dont think nine point still had that 50 million share reported by morning star. i believe they had sold all of it and its not up to date. So either ninepoint  bought that 27 millions today or short covering .

You're forgetting the short guy has 35M shares. May be he transferred his interest to someone else, or is planning to close it down.
