High fuel prices???????

As summer draws to a close. With the highest fuel prices in any summers history, along with highest prices in consumer goods. This did not develop into the summer of doom as many predicted. In fact, record numbers are being reported at most summer destinations. RV sites were completly booked along with rental cabins. While fetching top dollar for the sites. Fairs and Exibtions are experiencing record attendance and revenue. Cinemas are reporting higher traffic. My friend who hauls campers from the factories in the USA has never been this busy in the 20 years since he's been doing this. The massive COVID relief packages that governments dished out, two years ago. Will eventually lose steam. But not in two 2.5 years. We are just letting things cool down a bit, by raising rates and jawboning a recession, for the last leg of the stimulus

And fuel prices in N. America are still about the cheapest compared to the rest of the world.    The drive through at my Tim's this moring had a minimum of 8-9 cars buring up that expensive fuel.   Therefore lets not complain. I'll be in France, Germany and Belgium the next 3 weeks so I'll check out their gas prices.  It won't be pretty.   Our ATH ...more
