Buyback Scenario - Correct?

Ath buys back 50M shares in 2023 avg price 3.50 or 175,000 000 in cash outlays. 2% is $3,500,000. Seems like small potatoes. Why even have it.

The buyback tax doesn't come into force until 2024. This may actually speed up the buybacks for 2023.

I thought the same....Best case scenario for us in regards to the government looking like they are taking action on the oil companies "insane" profits.Just tack on 20k on every 1m in buybacks.
