50,000 per flowing barrel
Big deal for Baytex doubling in size, paying 50,000 a flowing barrel to do it. Things are definitely getting more expensive

Can dollars, ATH is currently valued approx 46,000 per flowing barrel about a 10% discount, need to keep in mind Baytex assumed Rangers debt, ATH has none. I will find out how much debt Ranger had and recalculate

After 600 million debt is assumed Baytex is paying more like 40,000 per flowing barrel with 15 year reserves, so if ATH has 6x more reserves how much a flowing barrel do think they are worth, alot more than 46,000 I would think

Going at it in another direction . . . Nuttal suggests ATH is worth $6.80 per share. ATH has 572,000,000 shares out. ATH has current production of +/- 40,000 bpd So ($6.80 x 572,000,000) / 40,000 = $97,000 CDN per flowing barrel So, Nuttal's predicted/estimated share price for ATH suggests that ATH's reserves are worth 2.5x that of BTE

The market is not liking BTE's announcement today to buy Ranger oil. Currently down 8.5% today. This purchase flies in the face of current mantra of paying down debt, dividends, share buybacks Im glad ATH has committed to spending 75% of fcf on on some combo of debt, dividends, buybacks Looking forward to YE results tomorrow glta
